Brighton are set to fend off interest in Marc Leonard by triggering the option in his contract.
Polish side Legia Warsaw and English Championship side Luton Town have both expressed an interest in the Scotland under-21 cap, along with a number of sides north of the border. The 21-year-old has impressed massively in his first loan out with League Two promotion pushers Northampton Town.
He has made more than 43 appearances and that progress and interest from elsewhere has been enough for the Seagulls to look to extend his deal. Leonard signed his last deal back in 2021 but it gave the English Premier League side the option to extend their agreement. Brighton signed Leonard from Hearts back in 2018.
