Shoppers have tracked down a high street 'dupe' of a designer scent that has retained huge popularity for more than a decade. Marc Jacobs Daisy has been the go-to fragrance for many fans since its launch in 2007, providing a spritz of distinctive floral and fruity notes.
The price tag means that many fans are on the look-out for cheaper alternatives, though, and Revolution Beauty apparently sells one that smells incredibly similar at a fraction of the price. Fans of the high street beauty brand have taken to ASOS to share rave reviews about the Revolution Goddess Eau De Toilette, which retails at £12 for 100ml.
While the bottles look nothing alike, one fan wrote: "Love this perfume! Such a great dupe of Daisy. Perfect for everyday." Another echoed: "Smells exactly like Marc Jacobs Daisy. Doesn't last anywhere near as long, but a cheap alternative."

A third ASOS shopper said it had a "very fresh and floral" fragrance, adding: "So similar to daisy by Marc jacobs! Lovely for work!"
To save even more money, Debenhams currently has a bottle on sale for only £9. On the Revolution site itself reviewers drew comparisons with another designer fragrance, with several saying it reminded them of Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue.
However, some said although they loved the scent it did not last long enough for their liking. One reviewer wrote on ASOS: "I’m a sucker for bargain perfumes and opted for goddess as it smells a bit similar to Marc jacobs Daisy. However, I found that the actual scent only lasts about 20 minutes, on my skin anyway.
"So not really a bargain if it needs to be reapplied all the time. Think I’ll stick to the more established brands from now on."
Superdrug retails a 50ml bottle of the original Daisy for £70, saying it embodies "the ultimate youthful spirit" offering a "soft, floral fragrance". It has notes of wild strawberry, violet leaves, red grapefruit, violet and jasmine petals, with musk, vanilla and white sandalwood notes offering a "warm sensuality".
For those looking to spend less on the 'real deal', the 30ml bottle is currently on sale at Boots for £40, with £10 off. It boasts a 4.8 out of 5 rating on the site with more than 200 reviews, with many saying the scent "lasts all day" without reapplication.
