Crystal Palace are set to demand at least £50million for Arsenal and Tottenham target Marc Guehi.
Arsenal and Spurs have identified Guehi as a possible summer transfer target as both clubs bid to upgrade their defence.
But Palace are determined to keep hold of the centre-back and will benchmark the £50m they received for Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United for in 2019.
Guehi’s former club Chelsea are due 20 per cent of any future sale from a sell-on clause inserted in his £18m move to Selhurst Park in 2021.
Spurs have a long-standing interest in Guehi and need to overhaul their defence this summer.
Clement Lenglet is due to return to Barcelona at the end of his season-long loan spell and Davinson Sanchez is also facing an uncertain future.
Arsenal want to strengthen at centre-back after squad depth in that position hurt their title bid following an injury to William Saliba.
Guehi has enjoyed a fine season, is an England international, and is in line to become full-time Palace captain next season should Luka Milivojevic leave this summer.
He still has three years left on his contract at Palace, leaving the south London club in a strong position.
