Mumbai: Actor Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie 'Khel Khel Mein'. During the trailer launch event of the film, he opened up about his movies not performing well at the Box Office.

He said, "Chaar picture chali paanch nahi chali..aese messages aaten hai ki..Sorry yaar, fikar mat karna. Sab thik ho jayega.' Mara nahi hoon main." 'Sorry yaar, don't worry! Everything will be fine.' I'm not dead).

Akshay added that there are even few journalists who told him to not worry and he will be back. He shared how he responded to them, saying "Mai phone karke bola.. bhai ye to kyu likh raha hai.. back matlab gaya kaha hoon.

Yahi hoon. Humesha kaam karunga......Log kuch bhi kahe. Jo bhi kamata hoon, apne dum pe kamata hoon." (Where have I gone, I'm right here. I will always work, let people say whatever they want to. Whatever I earn, I earn on my own).

He shared, "I will keep working till they have to shoot me down."

The trailer launch event was attended by the cast of the film. Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, Ammy Virk and others graced the event.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha and Ajay Rai, Khel Khel Mein "aims to redefine the comedy-drama genre, offering a rollercoaster ride of emotions that transcends the ordinary.

Save the date for this cinematic delight, poised to leave audiences in splits and craving for more", as per the statement. 'Khel Khel Mein' is directed by Mudassar Aziz. (with Agency inputs)
