Large-scale antigovernment protests are continuing across Israel as pressure grows for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to secure a ceasefire deal in Gaza.
On Saturday, an estimated 750,000 Israelis took to the streets in one of Israel’s biggest-ever protests. Organisers say there were 500,000 in Tel Aviv, with 250,000 others joining rallies in towns elsewhere in the country.
