Manufacturers are being encouraged to join a new network led by the Hull and East Yorkshire Growth Hub.
Collaboration and peer support is a central aim of the group, with those behind it acutely aware of the turbulent economic climate, with supply chain disruption, skills shortages, rising energy costs, and Net Zero implications to contend with alongside the normal course of doing business. It aims to act as an informal and supportive forum for manufacturing and engineering firms to learn best practice, share ideas, and discuss solutions to shared challenges.
Local enterprise partnership board member David Hall, managing director of Beverley Park Homes, will address the first gathering.
