Manly re-sign youngest Trbojevic brother Ben

Ben Trbojevic will continue playing alongside his star older brothers at Manly until at least the end of 2024 after signing a one-year contract extension.

Trbojevic has played a total of 17 NRL games since making his debut in 2021, including all three of Manly's matches this season, and was due to come off contract at the end of the year.

The Sea Eagles had already locked in older brothers Tom and Jake through 2026 and coach Anthony Seibold was pleased to have retained the 21-year-old.

"We've all seen the growth in Ben's game as an edge back-rower in the trials and the first couple of rounds this season, so we wanted to reward him with a contract extension,'' Seibold said.

"I think Ben is only going to get better and better in establishing himself as a genuine first grade player.

"We are really pleased with his progress so far. Ben will continue to grow as a person and as a player over the next couple of seasons, so we want that to be with Manly."

Trbojevic's re-signing comes one day after the club released fellow forwards Viliami Fifita and Alec Tuitavake, both of whom joined St George Illawarra.

Their departure coincided with Manly's signing of veteran prop Aaron Woods from the Dragons.
