KOCHI: After a blistering season with Gokulam Kerala FC, where she scored 14 goals from 11 Indian Women's League (IWL) matches and was named the player of the tournament, 20-year-old attacker Manisha Kalyan is eager to display her skills abroad.
Manisha has attracted the attention of clubs from Europe, Australia and the United States ever since becoming the first Indian to score against a senior Brazil national team last year. According to sources, the Indian international is close to concluding a deal that will see her play in the Mediterranean island nation of Cyprus.
