Manicure fail leaves woman looking like she dunked her fingers in 'olive jar'

A woman was almost reduced to tears after receiving the "worst manicure" ever when splashing out at the salon. TikTok user Grace, who is known as @gracewhitman95 online, created a video about her friend's nightmare nails to serve as a warning to others.

The clip includes screenshots from her friend, Morgan, expressing her disgust over the "nail fail", saying "I just got the worst manicure. I'm so f***ing mad. I want to cry."

It shows a screenshot of what she wanted - pristine matt black nails - before revealing the finished look, which people have compared to having bulging black olives at the tips of her fingers.

Commenting on her "blobby nails", one user said: "Not the black olive manicure." Another user added: "Are those jelly beans cut in half?"

A third user said: "Okay but why does it look like she popped some olives on your fingers and said 'Yup, looks about right'."

One more user added: "No way that's not Play-Doh."

It comes after a woman was left looking like 'the Grinch' after paying to have her eyebrows laminated.

TikTok user @thekennedykemp shared her "horrible" new look with her 8,000 followers, claiming her beauty technician has "ruined her life" by giving her spikey eyebrows.

In her video, which has been viewed more than 5.6 million times, she said: "I'm literally so embarrassed. First off, let's look at my nails. They look great, right?

"My girlfriends and I were trying to figure out ways to simplify our morning routines.

"I work in construction and real estate and sometimes in the morning, it's a lot to get ready.

"So I've even thought about getting eyelash extensions again."

She went on to explain how she used to have her eyebrows laminated - and has always been impressed with the results, until now.

Eyebrow lamination, also known as eyebrow perm, is a relatively new procedure that creates shiny, smooth brows that usually last between four to six weeks.

According to HD Brows the two-step eyebrow perming treatment involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution.

A statement reads: "In the first step, a cream is applied that breaks down bonds in the eyebrow hairs so they can be manipulated into a new position.

"In the second step, another cream is applied to rebuild these bonds and set the brows in their new uniform position.

But after seeing herself in the mirror after the procedure, she said: "The Grinch is what I look like. She really looked at me and said, 'you’re too sexy'.

"It's horrible. I’ve tried brushing them down. Oh my God, I'm going to throw up."

Commenting on her eyebrows, one user said: "The stylist heard, I work in construction. She said, say no more."

Another user added: "It’s giving Bert from Sesame Street."

A third user said: "Don’t raise your eyebrows too much, it'll get tangled in your hair."

One more user added: "This is my first time learning about brow lamination - now it will be my last."
