Newcastle man wanted in connection with assault and criminal damage arrested

A Newcastle man wanted in connection with offences including assault and criminal damage has been arrested.

Officers from Northumbria Police who were searching for the wanted Newcastle man had appealed for the public’s help in locating him.

Officers wanted to speak to the 25-year-old in connection with a number of offences including assault and criminal damage.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: "The wanted suspect has now been located, arrested and released on bail."
