A manhunt is today underway after a teen was stabbed in the stomach in Newcastle.
Part of Times Square in Newcastle city centre remains cordoned off after the incident, which happened early this morning.
Police say an "altercation" broke out between two men.

And during the row one of the men attacked the other.
The 19-year-old was taken to hospital with stomach injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at around 2.30am today.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "Shortly before 2.30am today police received a report a man had been assaulted in Times Square, Newcastle.
"It was reported two men had been involved in an altercation near Digital, when one has assaulted the other, causing him serious but non-life-threatening injuries to his stomach, consistent with having being caused by a bladed article.
"Emergency services were called and the victim, aged 19, was taken to hospital where he remains at this time.
"An investigation has been launched and officers have already spoken with a number of witnesses and carried out a review of CCTV.
"Enquiries remain ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police."
