Manhunt as woman upskirted at London Victoria Tube station

Detectives have released images of a man they would like to speak to - (British Transport Police)

A manhunt has been launched after a woman was upskirted on the London Underground.

British Transport Police said a member of the public reported they had witnessed the offence on the walkway towards the District and Circle lines at Victoria station.

Detectives released CCTV images of a man wearing a long tan coloured coat and carrying a blue shopping bag with the word “Fish” written on it.

They would like to speak to him after the incident on Tuesday, February 10 and pleaded for the alleged victim to come forward.

A force spokesman said: “Do you recognise this man?

“Officers believe the man in the images could have information that may assist their enquiries.”

Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 215 of 10 February.

Alternatively, Information can be given to independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
