Stylish Spanish fashion brand Mango is set to open a massive store in Newcastle city centre.
The popular high street label is taking over the former Monsoon unit inside Eldon Square shopping centre to open a huge stand-alone store. Huge black and white billboards have appeared over the front of the store while work is carried out that feature the Mango branding along with two summer campaign shots.
The sign also bears the message, "Get Ready. Mediterranean style and culture will arrive soon in Eldon Square. New store opening."

Mango, which was founded in Barcelona, sells women's and men's clothing and accessories. The brand is currently only available in Newcastle as a department store concession inside Fenwicks.
An opening date for the new store is still to be announced, but it is likely to come as welcome news to shoppers and city bosses following the closure of Monsoon earlier this year. The unit has stood empty since then, with a number of other major stores including Debenhams also closing as the high street faced tough trading conditions exacerbated by the pandemic.
But now life is being breathed into Eldon Square with the new openings set to entice even more customers into the city centre. It comes as the shopping celebrated the launch of its latest new store, Victoria's Secret, which opened to shoppers on Friday, July 17. The American brand is joined on to Next and offers a range of lingerie, nightwear and beauty products.
