Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho has been called up to the Argentina squad for their friendlies against Panama and Curacao.
Lionel Scaloni has named the 18-year-old in his first 35-man squad since Argentina won the World Cup in Qatar back in December. Garnacho narrowly missed out on a call-up to the squad last year having only just burst onto the scene under Erik ten Hag.
Since that omission, Garnacho has been working hard to make sure that he is not left out of the squad again. In February, the teenager played a starring role off the bench vs Barcelona, helping United progress in the Europa League.

Ten Hag recently challenged him to have more of an impact in matches. On Wednesday night, Garnacho curled in a 90th-minute winner to help the Reds beat West Ham in the FA Cup fifth round.
That strike took his tally to four goals for the first team this season. Garnacho will be joined on international duty by United teammate and World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez.
Argentina will begin their friendly schedule on Thursday, March 23 against Panama before facing Curacao on Tuesday, March 28. Here's Scaloni's squad in full:
