Manchester United XI vs Brighton: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for FA Cup today

Manchester United have Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford fit to start in today’s FA Cup semi-final with Brighton after their injury issues.

The Red Devils head to Wembley without the injured Lisandro Martinez or Raphael Varane, and the suspended Harry Maguire’s place would have been in doubt anyway following his error in the defeat to Sevilla.

Shaw therefore slots into central defence alongside Victor Lindelof, with Diogo Dalot getting the nod at left-back.

Despite the 3-0 humbling in the Europa League, Erik ten Hag has not wavered in trusting his senior regulars, including goalkeeper David De Gea.

Bruno Fernandes returns having been suspended for the trip to Spain.

Scott McTominay once again misses out on the squad, despite previously being tipped by Ten Hag to potentially feature in the previous fixture at Nottingham Forest.

Rashford starts after shaking off a groin issue to make the bench in Seville, with Anthony Martial leading the line.

Phil Jones, Tom Heaton and Donny van de Beek are absent, with Alejandro Garnacho missing out despite a recent return to light training.

Starting XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Shaw, Dalot, Casemiro, Eriksen, Antony, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial

Subs: Butland, Malacia, Sabitzer, Fred, Sancho, Weghorst, Pellistri, Williams, Elanga.
