Danjuma move 'unlikely' under Ten Hag
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Arnaut Danjuma ahead of the summer transfer window - but a swoop for the Villarreal star remains unlikely under Erik ten Hag as part of his impending rebuild.
Manchester Evening News understands the Old Trafford giants are still fond admirers of the Dutchman a year after he was considered as an alternative to Jadon Sancho and he has a €45million release clause which can be activated in time for the 2022/2023 season.
United instead chose to spend £73million on long-term target Sancho, while then-Bournemouth forward Danjuma moved to La Liga outfit Villarreal for €25million.

Ten Hag stance on Academy star Garner
Ten Hag will watch Academy graduate James Garner first-hand before deciding on his immediate future.
Garner, 21, was outstanding during his loan spell at Nottingham Forest as he helped the club return to the Premier League for the first time since 1999 with a 1-0 win over Huddersfield in the Championship play-off final.
Garner's return to United's Carrington training complex will be delayed as he is on England Under-21 duty until June 13. United's first day of pre-season is on June 27 and Garner is expected to be among the second group of returnees to their training complex.
