Reports suggest Manchester United and two other Premier League clubs have 'submitted bids' for highly-rated RB Leipzig and Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol.
Gvardiol, 20, continues to earn rave reviews for his performances in Qatar and Croatia have reached the semi-finals after beating Brazil on penalties. It has kept their hopes of glory alive and Gvardiol has seen interest in him skyrocket over the course of the tournament.
United signed Lisandro Martinez from Ajax this summer and his arrival came 12 months after Raphael Varane joined the club. However, with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof also in the ranks, Erik ten Hag continues to be linked with further moves at centre-back ahead of the January and summer windows.

Gvardiol is hot property across Europe right now and, seemingly, has several clubs chasing him, with the market set to reopen next month. Foot Mercato credit Chelsea, United, Tottenham and Manchester City with interest and also claim that offers have been made for the Croatian.
The same article says United and Chelsea have touched base with RB Leipzig, but City have tabled the most money as things stand at £86million including add-ons. Gvardiol only signed for the German outfit from Dinamo Zagreb last summer and is under contract until 2027.
Meanwhile, reports from the The Mirror indicate United want Kim Min-jae. Similarly to Gvardiol, the centre-back from Napoli has shone at the World Cup finals - although South Korea have been eliminated. Kim has been in Serie A for less than six months after signing for €18.05million from Fenerbahce this summer.
But with a release clause in his contract, understood to be worth close to £38million, the 26-year-old defender has been tipped to move on again in the not-too-distant future. Kim has been capped 47 times by his nation and won September's player-of-the-month award in Serie A.
