Manchester United star Antony sends defiant message after Brazil's World Cup exit

Manchester United star Antony has told Brazil fans that he and his teammates will come back stronger after they were defeated on penalties by Croatia in the quarter-finals of the World Cup on Friday.

The Brazilians had steam-rolled past South Korea in the Round of 16 and were many people's favourites to do the same against the European outfit in Al Rayyan. However, the free-flowing Samba Boys were met by a goalkeeper in inspired form.

Dominik Livakovic made a host of good stops as Tite's team looked to turn the screw. Brazil introduced Antony before the hour mark, replacing Raphinha but they had to wait until extra time to make the breakthrough with Neymar dancing through the Croatia defence to give the South Americans the lead.
