Manchester United's draw with Crystal Palace means they passed up the opportunity to go second in the table ahead of arch-rivals Manchester City.
The Reds travel to the Emirates to take on leaders Arsenal on Sunday knowing that the gap can now only be cut to five points, rather than three should they have beaten Palace.
They will also be without Casemiro, who will serve a suspension after picking up a fifth yellow card of the Premier League campaign. Competition rules state that players who receive five cards in their first 19 league games of the season will be banned for one game.
