Jadon Sancho faces a key upcoming season at Manchester United as he approaches his third campaign at the club.
The England international joined United in the summer of 2021 in a £73m deal from German side Borussia Dortmund. However, the 23-year-old is yet to truly see his Old Trafford career hit the heights yet predicted for him.
Sancho has scored 12 goals in 79 games for United over the past two seasons. It included seven strikes in 41 games during Erik ten Hag's maiden campaign in charge at Old Trafford.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp previously admitted his admiration for Sancho. Klopp did not manage Sancho at previous club Dortmund, but went on record with how highly he rated the England international.

Back when United and Liverpool were both linked with Sancho in the summer of 2020, Klopp was open about the fact that his club would struggle to meet Dortmund's asking price given the Reds were still reeling financially from the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
"I don't think such a transfer will be possible this season," the German admitted in 2020 to German newspaper Bild, though he did add: "The red shirt [of Liverpool] would suit [him] very well.
"He [Sancho] is a very interesting player. If he's coming to Liverpool I would be the most surprised of all of us."
Though Sancho has ended up in the red of United rather than Liverpool, he has a chance next season to prove Klopp right about his admiration for the winger. With it being his third season at United, it will be a key time to do just that.
