Manchester United's Hannibal Mejbri won his first international trophy with Tunisia on Monday night.
Tunisia beat Japan 3-0 in the final of the 2022 Kirin Cup in the hosts' own city of Osaka to claim the prize. Although Hannibal, 19, didn't make the starting line up for the final, he came on as a substitute in the 77th minute to help his side get across the line.
“First trophy of my career with the national team, more to come," Hannibal wrote on Instagram after Tunisia's triumph. Ralf Rangnick promoted Hannibal to first-team training at United last season and the youngster started on the final day of the campaign.

Hannibal delivered a spirited performance against Crystal Palace, in what was just his second appearance in the Premier League last term. The midfielder also made a cameo against Liverpool at Anfield, playing in the last 10 minutes of that 4-0 defeat.
Hannibal wasn't on the pitch for long, but he received a yellow card for a strong challenge on Jordan Henderson. Hannibal received praise for showing some desire, with the likes of Gary Neville and Bryan Robson lauding his cameo. Hannibal will be watched by Erik ten Hag in pre-season and he could be set for more minutes in the new season.
Tunisia are expected to name the United man in their squad for the World Cup in Qatar this year.
