Manchester United's David de Gea has won the Premier League's Save of the Month award for February.
De Gea has won the award for denying Kelechi Iheanacho during United's 3-0 victory against Leicester on February 19. Iheanacho looked to have scored with a strong header in that game but De Gea miraculously saved the effort with one hand.
Allison, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Aaron Ramsdale and Jordan Pickford were also on the shortlist for the Save of the Month award, but De Gea claimed the prize after receiving the most supporters' votes and approval 'from a panel of experts'.

The save from the Spaniard also helped him record his 180th clean sheet in all competitions for United. De Gea equalled Peter Schmeichel's club record with that clean sheet but he's now surpassed that to become the outright record holder.
De Gea has kept 10 clean sheets in the Premier League this season and only Ramsdale (11) and Nick Pope (12) have recorded more.
The 32-year-old is currently in discussions with United over a new contract, but his performance against Real Betis in the Europa League on Thursday, in which his distribution was poor, has brought fresh scrutiny on his position.
“From today I can’t ignore it, but I think we have seen many games he did really well," Ten Hag said when asked about De Gea. “I don’t know what the reason today was. There was a lot of wind, a different ball, probably he had some problems with that.
"I know we can deal with it and he will do better Sunday. We work on [his kicking] but David is working on that. But I think we have seen in this season that he is improving and he will keep improving, I’m sure.”
De Gea is technically out of contract this summer but United have the option of an additional year on his deal.
If De Gea extends his stay, his new contract is set to be on reduced terms.
