Fred returned to Manchester United training on Thursday ahead of the Reds' FA Cup clash at the weekend.
Ralf Rangnick gave United's stars the green light to enjoy a winter break following the 1-0 over West Ham, but non-UEFA national sides were still catching up on World Cup qualifiers and that meant Fred, Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani were all in action.
Fred started as Brazil drew against Ecudaor while Telles started as his nation beat Paraguay 4-0 on early Wednesday morning.
Just over 24 hours have gone since Brazil's final World Cup qualifier and Fred has reported back to United training.
The midfielder shared a picture on social media outside of Carrington and he was clearly happy to be back with his teammates.
Fred has continued to be a key player for United this season and he's started a total of 21 games across all competitions. With two days training under his belt, he'll be in contention to start against Middlesbrough and that's good news for Rangnick.
United welcome Middlesbrough to Old Trafford in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday.
