Welcome to our latest Manchester United Q&A, with MEN's senior football writer Tyrone Marshall answering your questions today following an extraordinary day at Old Trafford.
Tuesday delivered two huge stories for United fans: the club confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has left the club by mutual agreement with immediate effect, with his contract termination set to save the club £16million in wages. Ronaldo's exit follows his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan in which the 37-year-old forward criticised the club, owners the Glazer family, manager Erik ten Hag and United's young players among others.
Fresh off the back of the Ronaldo announcement, reports emerged that the Glazers were considering selling the club - and the family have since confirmed they are exploring a potential sale after 17 controversial years at Old Trafford. Many United fans have been critical of the Glazers' ownership with huge protests at Old Trafford and #GlazersOut hashtags dominating social media, but supporters will hope uncertainty over the club's future does not impact the team as Ten Hag sets out his promising vision for the future.
