Speculation surrounding Manchester United's reported pursuit of Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have intensified as the Reds are said to be preparing a 'significant offer'.
The Serbian has been frequently linked with a move to Old Trafford. And with the incoming manager set to arrive in the summer, United have already identified the midfield as a position required for improvement.
Premier League stars such as Declan Rice and Ruben Neves have been repeatedly linked with the Reds holding a strong interest in the West Ham skipper. However, according to Italian outlet La Repubblica via LazioNews24, it has been suggested the Reds are preparing to make an offer to Maurizio Sarri's side.

As per the news site, United are said to be eyeing a €60m (£50m) move for the midfielder. However, there is an obstacle for those looking to negotiate a deal as the 27-year-old still had two years left on his current deal and could see their reported asking price jump to €80m (£67.4m).
Meanwhile, there is likely to be movement between the sticks for the Reds, this summer. With David de Gea in superb form, Dean Henderson's involvement has been limited and as a result, he looks likely to be departing Old Trafford.
His move in January was blocked after Newcastle showed initial interest. But, reports in Switzerland via the Daily Mail have reported that RB Salzburg goalkeeper Phillip Kohn is a potential target as back-up.
It has been said that the Reds are 'mulling over' a move for the 23-year-old. And scouts travelled to Bavaria a few weeks ago for Salzburg's defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
