A former Manchester United striker has said a move to Chelsea would be “the obvious match” for Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman is leaving Old Trafford this summer when his contract expires following a six-year stay. The likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for the midfielder.
Manchester City were interested at one stage, but despite reportedly agreeing personal terms, the player opted against a cross-city switch in fear of the backlash that would be prompted. But Pogba has still not ruled out a transfer to a Premier League rival.

Louis Saha says Chelsea would be the next best move for the 29-year-old. Pogba has often produced his best football next to N’Golo Kante for France and Saha has explained that is why a move to Stamford Bridge may be appealing.
Speaking to Lord Ping, he said: "Chelsea is the obvious match for Pogba because he loves to play with N’Golo Kante. We always try to compare what he does with France and United and the ability of Kante makes Pogba play to another dimension and that’s the truth. Only Pogba can indicate where he wants to go.”
