The Italian winger scored eight goals and provided nine assists in all competitions for Roma last campaign as he helped them to a sixth-placed finish in Serie A.

Elsewhere, the Evening Standard report that United have approached Jonathan Clauss to try and tempt the France international to make the move from Ligue 1 to the Premier League.
United are willing to part ways with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and they see Clauss as a viable replacement for the former Crystal Palace right-back. The 29-year-old is said to have been scouted by Chelsea for more than a year.
United face competition from abroad as well with both Atletico Madrid and Marseille showing interest. Marseille recently had a bid of £6m rejected by Lens. Clauss is into the final year of his contract and has the ability to play on both the left and right of the defence.
