Former Manchester United youngster Kieran Richardson has named the most talented team-mate he played with during his five years at the club, and it's not Cristiano Ronaldo.
The pair played more than 40 matches for United together, with Ronaldo assisting Richardson's goal against the Hungarian side Debrecen, in Champions League qualifying during the 2005/06 season. The eight-cap England international spent time on loan at West Bromwich Albion before moving on to Sunderland for more first-team football.
Richardson is now retired, having not played professionally since the 2016/17 season. Reflecting on his time at Old Trafford, he names Paul Scholes as the top United talent of his time.

"Paul Scholes is definitely the most talented football that I've been around," Richardson said on The Steven Sulley Study. "[He was] just quick (mentally) and didn't need to run with the ball.
"He let the ball do the work, one-touch, two-touch, playing around you. Similar to [Barcelona's Andres] Iniesta and Xavi. Just unbelievable.
"He could do everything, ping a ball 50 yards, strike a ball, tackle. He can tackle, everyone says he can't tackle. [He was] just an all-around player.
"For me, that was probably the best player that I've played with. Even though Ronaldo, Rooney, Roy Keane were all unbelievable, elite, top, but just for that one little bit in training where everyone is thinking the same thing, [it's] Paul Scholes."
