Manchester United are reportedly the 'most credible option' for Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni.
The 23-year-old central defender has become a regular in the Inter side and has gone from strength-to-strength this campaign. Antonio Conte is believed to be keen on the Italian however Gazzetta dello Sport is claiming that he is actually more likely to make a move to United than their Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Reports in the Italian newspaper suggest that the Reds are 'studying the right offer'. It is believed that a bid of £51m could be enough to tempt the Serie A club into selling.

Elsewhere, one current United player could be set for a switch to Serie A. Edinson Cavani, who will be leaving the Reds at the expiration of his contract, is being linked to both Fiorentina and Salernitana.
According to Calcio Mercato, Cavani has caught the eye of the Italian clubs and they are thought to be weighing up a move once his contract expires. It is believed that the Uruguayan wants to continue his footballing career in Europe rather than return to his home continent.
