Manchester United are amongst several clubs expressing an interest in signing Bayern Munich and Germany winger Serge Gnabry.
That is according to a report by Sky Germany, who claim that Bayern officials are so far yet to meet his salary demands for a new contract.
Gnabry, who joined the German giants from Werder Bremen in 2017, has established himself as one of the best-performing wingers in European football in recent years and his stock is continuing to rise.
Amid his contract stand-off with Bayern, United and Liverpool, according to the report in Germany, are ready to battle it out for his signature.
The Germany international has just entered the final 18 months of his contract at the Allianz Arena, meaning he could be available in a cut-price deal this coming summer.
United and Liverpool, however, are not alone in pursuing Gnabry's signature. Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested in his services and are waiting to pounce if he does not commit his future to the German giants.
Given his contract situation, this coming summer could represent Bayern's last chance to cash in on the 26-year-old, who has played more than 150 times for the club.
Meanwhile, reported United target Antonio Rudiger has 'rejected a new contract' at Chelsea, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
The German centre-back, who has seen his Chelsea career resurrected since Thomas Tuchel took charge at Stamford Bridge a little over a year ago, is out-of-contract at the end of the season and at has been at the centre of no shortage of speculation in recent weeks.
Rudiger, who is 28 years old, is attracting plenty of interest and United have been closely linked with a move, according to reports.
The former AS Roma man's contractual situation means that he will be available on a free transfer during the summer if he does not sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
United could be on the hunt for a new centre-back this summer and Rudiger's Premier League experience might tempt them.
