Manchester United injury update: Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro and Antony latest news and return dates

Manchester United will have to dust themselves down very quickly following Sunday’s loss to West Ham.

The Red Devils succumbed to a late 2-1 defeat in east London after Jarrod Bowen’s controversial late penalty – much to the chagrin of Erik ten Hag.

Still, Man Utd have little time to dwell on the result, with Leicester up next in the Carabao Cup before a huge Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday.

With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Manchester United injuries.

Noussair Mazraoui

Noussair Mazraoui reverted back into his full-back role on Sunday after playing as a No.10 against Fenerbahce.

The Morocco international, however, did not last the whole game and was replaced by Victor Lindelof towards the closing stages.

No update was given after the game but Ten Hag will no doubt share the latest before Wednesday’s clash with Leicester.

Potential return date: Unknown

Antony

Antony was stretchered off during the 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce with an ankle injury and missed Sunday’s clash with the Hammers as he continues under assessment.

Potential return date: Unknown

Leny Yoro

Big summer signing Leny Yoro has not played a competitive game since joining from Lille, having undergone surgery on a foot injury sustained during pre-season.

Still, United recently confirmed the defender was back training out on grass as he ramps his return.

Kobbie Mainoo

Midfielder Kobbie Mainoo withdrew from the England squad during the international break earlier this month with what is believed to be a muscle injury.

It remains to be seen when he will return but some reports have suggested the midfielder will be available again after the November international break.

Potential return date: November 2024

Luke Shaw

Luke Shaw has not featured for United since February despite a brief cameo for England at Euro 2024. Ten Hag has confirmed the defender is back in training but, naturally, does not wish to rush his return given the number of fitness issues Shaw has suffered.

Potential return date: Unknown

Mason Mount

Mason Mount’s frustrating time of things continued after sustaining a knock following a nasty clash of heads during the loss to Tottenham.

Potential return date: Unknown

Harry Maguire

Harry Maguire limped off during the draw with Aston Villa earlier this month and is expected to miss a few weeks of action, potentially meaning a return at some point in November.

Potential return date: November 2024
