Erik ten Hag is facing a mountain of injury issues ahead of Manchester United's trip to Liverpool.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial were ruled out before Tuesday's visit of Bayern Munich in the Champions League before Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw both came a cropper during the 1-0 defeat.
United are desperately hoping that Victor Lindelof, Mason Mount and Christian Eriksen are nearing a return to action but Ten Hag has been tight-lipped on their progress.
Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro both recently made a comeback to the Carrington training pitches but are long-term absentees.
Here is your latest update of Manchester United injuries and return dates...
Marcus Rashford
United confirmed on Monday that Rashford was absent from training due to illness.
The England forward subsequently missed the defeat to Bayern and is a doubt to face Liverpool, having already been dropped to Ten Hag's bench in recent weeks anyway.
Potential return date: December 17, vs Liverpool
Luke Shaw
Shaw was taken off at half-time on Tuesday night with a suspected hamstring strain, less than a month after his return from a 16-game lay-off with a leg muscle injury. Ten Hag did not play down fears off a fresh spell out for the left-back when he spoke post-match.
The Dutch manager told TNT Sports: "I can't say in this moment. We obviously have to wait 24 hours and then we will have an assessment and diagnosis, so we have to wait for it."
Potential return date: Unknown
Harry Maguire
Ten Hag was also coy on Maguire's injury after he appeared to tweak his groin in the first half.
The 30-year-old initially played on before feeling the pain once again and quickly heading off to be replaced by Jonny Evans. He will now be assessed.
Potential return date: Unknown
Anthony Martial
Like Rashford, Martial was also missing from training on Monday having suffered from illness.
United are expected to update fans later in the week as to whether he is back in time to make the squad for Liverpool.
Potential return date: December 17, vs Liverpool
Mason Mount
Little has been revealed by United about Mount's return from a calf injury, amid reports he was back in training.
However, he was absent at Monday's workout with little risk wanted to be taken over his playing comeback.
Potential return date: December 23, vs West Ham
Victor Lindelof
Lindelof was fit to train before the Bayern game but nonetheless failed to make the squad.
A minor injury kept him out of the Bournemouth defeat too but Maguire and Shaw's issues could see him returned to the defence on Sunday.
Potential return date: December 17 vs Liverpool
Lisandro Martinez
United are reportedly taking a cautious approach with Martinez's return from a second operation on his broken metatarsal.
Initial talk of a comeback at Christmas may prove premature with the defender said to have suffered a small setback. On Monday, Martinez was able to take part in light training on the Carrington grass.
Potential return date: Early 2024
Casemiro
It has been an injury-hit season for 31-year-old midfielder Casemiro, who has been absent since picking up a hamstring issue in the Carabao Cup on November 1.
The Brazilian has stepped up his recovery however, with a return to light individual training in recent days. His initial comeback date was positioned around Christmas and it appears he's on track for that timeline.
Potential return date: December 26, vs Aston Villa
Christian Eriksen
Reports suggest Eriksen is nearing a return having been ruled out for a month in mid-November with a knee injury.
Ten Hag has not spoken about the Dane's fitness since losing him before the last international break, and he may not play a big role on his return amid rumours he will be sold in January.
Potential return date: December 23, vs West Ham
Tyrell Malacia
A recent update from the Red Devils set out a timeline for Malacia's return, with the Dutch left-back yet to play this season.
Following surgery on a knee injury in the summer, he was forced to go under the knife again due to a setback and is now targeting the New Year.
Potential return date: Early 2024
Amad Diallo
Last week saw Amad return to full training after suffering a knee injury in pre-season.
Talk of a fresh loan move in January may hint that, even when ready to play, the youngster may not earn an instant chance in Ten Hag's squad. He will also likely be reintroduced via reserve games before a first-team opening, as Kobbie Mainoo was.
