Manchester United fans say the same thing as Raphael Varane scores first goal vs Brentford

Manchester United fans have been reacting to Raphael Varane scoring his first goal for the club.

The Frenchman has made a difference when he has featured at the back for the Reds but has seen his season hampered by injury. However, in the final home match of the 2021-22 campaign, he opened his United account.

Varane added a third against Brentford steering home from Alex Telles' corner. His effort secured the points with over 15 minutes to play, with Cristiano Ronaldo also amongst the goalscorers after making no mistake from the penalty spot after being hauled down by Rico Henry.

Bruno Fernandes ended his goal drought - scoring his 50th for the Reds in the process - in the opening 10 minutes, firing beyond David Raya following good wide-play from Anthony Elanga. The win tightened United's grip on a Europa League place.

But fans were delighted for their central defender to get off the mark for United, at Old Trafford and in front of the Stretford End. Here's how they reacted on Twitter.
