Manchester United fans are all saying the same thing after Diogo Dalot's first half performance

Manchester United fans were all saying the same thing about Diogo Dalot as the Portuguese full-back was praised for his first-half display against West Ham.

The two Champions League chasers couldn't be separated at the break with the only flashpoint coming in the West Ham box after the referee waved away appeals for a penalty after Kurt Zouma appeared to man-handle Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dalot, who was named man of the match by BT Sport in the midweek win over Brentford, continued to catch fans' eyes as he continues to keep Aaron Wan-Bissaka out of the starting XI.

The 22-year-old was subject to interest from abroad prior to the January transfer window but his integration into the squad has seen him become a first-team regular extinguishing talk of him leaving Old Trafford this month.

And fans were left delighted by the full-backs showing in the first 45 as United looked to make ground up on the Hammers who occupy the final Champions League position.

How did you rate Diogo Dalot's performance? Leave a comment below.

As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, Dalot's capabilities have brought delight to the United faithful as a weakness in the defence has seemingly been rectified without splashing out in the transfer window.

Some fans were predicting successive man of the match awards for his display in the first 45.

Dalot has replaced Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back, who has been subject to criticism for his performances this season after failing to offer an attacking threat down the right. Following the Reds' fourth home defeat of the season to Wolves, the 24-year-old come under fire for his efforts in both final thirds of the pitch.
