Manchester United are expecting to send Charlie Savage out on loan before the January transfer window closes.
The 19-year-old has made one senior appearance during his playing career and is keen to carry on his development with a loan spell in the second half of the season.
The Manchester Evening News understands all parties are in agreement that a loan move would be beneficial to Savage's progress and that talks are ongoing to try and find him a new temporary club.

Savage has been attracting Football League interest, and it is understood that United would like to send him out to a League One club if possible.
The teenager, son of Robbie, made his only first-team appearance for United as a late substitute in the Champions League dead rubber against Young Boys in December 2021.
Savage was also named on the bench for Ralf Rangnick’s final game in charge, a 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace on the final day of last season, and has not featured in a competitive match day squad under Erik ten Hag.
He has caught the eye of the current United manager though, and impressed alongside Zidane Iqbal during pre-season.
Savage also featured from the bench in both of United’s winter friendlies against La Liga sides Cadiz and Real Betis during last month’s training camp in Spain.
