Manchester United have been drawn against fellow Premier League side Everton in the FA Cup Third Round.
United are set to welcome the Toffees to their Old Trafford base in the world-famous competition after the draw was screened on BBC Two tonight. A date will be set in due course - between January 6 and January 9 - depending on TV and other such broadcasting schedules.
Having been appointed United manager this summer, Erik ten Hag will enjoy his first taste of the FA Cup when the tie rolls around. However, with several players away on World Cup duty with their respective nations, it also comes at a time when his squad will be stretched to the limit with multiple winter fixtures.
