Manchester United delete Black Friday post minutes after Cristiano Ronaldo's 'marketing club' claim

Manchester United deleted a post on social media advertising several Black Friday deals minutes after a clip emerged of Cristiano Ronaldo accusing the Reds' owners of turning United into a 'marketing club'.

Ronaldo took aim at the Glazer family during his interview with Piers Morgan, insisting that they 'don't care' about the sporting side of the club. The 37-year-old has come under intense criticism for his interview, with the forward slamming several people, including his manager Erik ten Hag and a number of his former teammates.

The club's Twitter post, which included a link to a Black Friday sale, was offering discounted prices on official membership, matchday hospitality, United Direct and museum and stadium tours. However, the tweet was quickly removed after Ronaldo's comments surfaced.
