Manchester United face competition to sign RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku, with Bayern Munich now reportedly joining the race to sign the Frenchman.
Nkunku, 24, has been one of a number of names linked with a move to Old Trafford ahead of Erik ten Hag's arrival and imminent overhaul. Ralf Rangnick has already declared that new faces are needed in the summer with Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic all set to leave.
The former Paris Saint-Germain youngster has bagged 31 goals this season. RB Leipzig are now 90 minutes away from the Europa League final as they lead Rangers 1-0 ahead of their semi-final second leg. Nkunku scored twice in the second leg of the quarter-final against Atalanta to set up a clash with the Scottish Premiership holders.

According to Pedro Almeida (via ESPN), Julian Nagelsmann will try to sign the France international this summer. United have previously been linked with a €60m (£50.4m) move for him.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that United failed to 'hijack' Borussia Dortmund's efforts to sign RB Salzburg prospect Karim Adeyemi. Patrick Berger of German outlet Sport 1 has claimed that United offered a £150,000-per-week contract to the 20-year-old - who has four goals in this season's Champions League - but saw their efforts fall short as he looks set to replace Erling Haaland at Dortmund.
