Manchester United 'consider move' for Tottenham's Harry Kane and more transfer rumours

Manchested United are reportedly 'considering a move' for Tottenham's Harry Kane as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes (via Caught Offside), United are weighing up a move to tempt Kane to Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his attacking options. Ronaldo's future at the club still remains in doubt, and the Tottenham striker could be the perfect addition to add an extra dimension to United's attack.

The report claims that the Reds will have to fend off interest from Chelsea and Bayern Munich to get a deal for Kane done, as a host of Europe's top clubs eye up a move for the 29-year-old. Rivals Man City were heavily linked with Spurs forward recently, but the arrival of Erling Haaland to the Etihad Stadium should rule out Pep Guardiola's side from entering any potential bidding war.

With Kane’s contract set to expire in 2024, Tottenham could take the opportunity to cash-in on the England captain should the striker want to leave North London in the near future.

Elsewhere, Gianluca Di Marzio (via Sport Witness) reports that United may have hit a stumbling block in their pursuit of Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae.

It was initially thought that the 25-year-old's release clause, believed to be around €50million (£43.58m), would allow United to conclude a swift deal for the Napoli defender. However, news has now emerged that this release clause will not be active in January, meaning that Ten Hag's side would have to negotiate a higher price to convince the Serie A side to part ways with the South Korean.

If United want to take advantage of Min-Jae's release clause, they will have to wait until next summer's transfer window to do so.
