Erik ten Hag will take charge of Manchester United at Old Trafford for the first time on Sunday, July 31 after the club confirmed their final pre-season friendly of the summer.
United will finish their pre-season preparations with a friendly against La Liga side Rayo Vallecano, with a 4pm kick-off time. The game will come just a week before the new Premier League season begins.
The fixture against the side that finished 12th in La Liga last season comes just a day after United play Atletico Madrid in Oslo and the Old Trafford fixture is seen as an opportunity to make sure all of Ten Hag's squad are getting minutes during pre-season.

United begin their pre-season with a game against Liverpool in Bangkok, before facing Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace in Melbourne and Aston Villa in Perth.
John Murtough, United's football director, said: "Pre-season is all about preparation and this is a great opportunity for those squad members who may not have featured in some of our earlier Tour and pre-season matches to get valuable minutes on the pitch – and where better to do this than Old Trafford?
“This will be the new manager’s first match at Old Trafford, and I am sure the fans will provide him with a warm welcome.”
Manchester United’s chief operating officer, Collette Roche, added: “We are delighted to be able to offer fans the opportunity to share in the experience of Erik Ten Hag’s first match in the dugout at Old Trafford.
“As well as the chance to see some of the club’s up-and-coming stars, fans purchasing tickets for this match will also be contributing towards a fantastic cause, with the club donating 10 percent of profits from the game to Manchester United Foundation and its work within the community.”
Tickets for the Rayo Vallecano game are on general sale priced at £20 for adults, £10 for under 16s and £50 for hospitality seating. Season ticket holders, executive club members and official members can purchase tickets from just £1 for under 16s and £5 for adults.
