Football Manager 2023 have ranked the best youngsters at Manchester United, with Alejandro Garnacho and two others predicted for greatness.
Released earlier this month, Football Manager 2023 is known as one of the most realistic football simulation games, with many clubs in world football using its mega database to help with scouting and academy set-ups. United don't have the best squad in FM23 with Cristiano Ronaldo receiving a huge downgrade, but they have some promising youngsters on the books.
Unearthing some of the best young talents in football is one of the big appeals when starting a save in FM games. United trio Garnacho, Hannibal Mejbri and Kobbie Mainoo are all predicted to be amongst the best in the world by FM23.

So, who are the best youngsters at Manchester United, according to Football Manager 2023? Let's take a look.
The best wonderkids at Manchester United in FM23
In Football Manager 2023, each player in the database is given a value out of 200 for both Current Ability and Potential Ability. Current Ability is how good the player is now, whilst Potential Ability is how good the player is tipped to be.
The best wonderkids are given a minus value for Potential Ability (PA), which gives them a potential ability range rather than a guaranteed PA rating which can be decided based on their development. A value of -10 means that the youngster could reach a Current Ability between 170/200 and 200/200, a value of -95 means that the youngster could reach a Current Ability between 160/200 and 190/200 and a value of -9 means that the youngster could reach a Current Ability between 150/200 and 180/200 etc.

According to FM23, Garnacho, Hannibal and Mainoo are all tipped to reach an ability of 140-170, meaning if all three were to hit their PA ceiling, they would become higher-rated than any of the current United squad. Bruno Fernandes (166 CA) is currently the highest-rated player for United, just ahead of Christian Eriksen (161 CA), Casemiro (161 CA) and Raphael Varane (160 CA)
The likes of Ethan Laird, Facundo Pellistri, Shola Shoretire, Amad, Anthony Elanga and Zidane Iqbal all have a PA ceiling of 160, meaning they could all become higher-rated than the likes of Ronaldo (158 CA), Jadon Sancho (155 CA), Marcus Rashford (151 CA) and Antony (148 CA).
