Manchester United have reportedly asked 'for information' on Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.
According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness ), Martinez is back on United's radar after scoring a goal and providing an assist during Inter's 3-3 draw against Barcelona in the Champions League. The report claims that Erik ten Hag's side have asked for information on the 25-year-old, as they eye a potential move for the forward.
It is thought that United will have to rival Paris Saint-Germain for his signature, as the French club also try to tempt the Argentine to make the move to Ligue 1. Martinez's contract is not due to expire until 2026, so Inter could demand a significant transfer fee from the Reds, something that Ten Hag has already been warned against after spending £225million this summer.

Elsewhere, Calcio Mercato (via CaughtOffside ) report that United are set to battle it out with Arsenal over the signing of Santos' young Brazilian forward, Marcos Leonardo.
The 19-year-old has already expressed his desire to one day play in the Premier League, and his recent performances in Brazil have put the English clubs on high alert. Leonardo has scored 14 goals in 31 league appearances for his Brazilian side and is now believed to be eyeing a move to the English top flight.
At such a young age, with little match experience, there is a large amount of risk associated with the move. However, Ten Hag will need to make a call sooner rather than later on any potential deal before a rival team swoop in ahead of United.
