Christian Eriksen says Manchester United are taking each game step-by-step in every competition, although the players have not been told by Erik ten Hag which trophies to target.

The Dane featured and scored in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup to set up a quarter-final tie with League One Charlton Athletic in three weeks' time. United are still in every competition available to them this season with their FA Cup campaign getting underway against Everton on January 6.

They also have a tasty Europa League knock-out clash with Barcelona to look forward to in February and March. Ten Hag has vowed to try and aim for each trophy although admitted that a top four finish is the main goal.
