Jonathon Woodgate believes Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho would have been an 'unbelievable' player for Liverpool.
Sancho made the switch from Borussia Dortmund to United in the summer of 2022 for a reported fee of £73 million, but has made a slow start to life at Old Trafford.
The England international recorded two assists in United's 4-2 win against Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon and was praised.
Liverpool had previously been linked with a move for Sancho, but decided against making a move before United got their man.

The 21-year-old has four goals at United, but ex-Real Madrid defender, Woodgate, thinks he would have been perfectly suited to Liverpool's system.
"He was exceptional at Dortmund. You need a little bit of time to settle in. You need a manager to believe in you. He is starting to play a lot of games, and he is starting to show what he can do," Woodgate said on Match of the Day 2.
"You need that time to settle in," he added. "At Manchester United, it hasn’t been great at the minute. Tell you what, he would be an unbelievable player for Liverpool. He would fit into their system perfectly."
