Manchester has been voted one of the best cities in the world. The city has been ranked the 13th best on the planet by Time Out.
Every year the esteemed global magazine quizzes 20,000 city-dwellers worldwide about life in their hometown. It includes factors such as community spirit and resilience as well as things such as theatres, art galleries and nightlife with the results being used to produce a 53 strong list.
They say the aim is "to create a global snapshot of city living and point people in the direction of the places locals are really raving about."
