The battle to replace Andy Burnham as the Mayor of Manchester will be a direct fight between Reform UK and the Green Party, Zack Polanski has said.

The Green leader launched the campaign for the mayoralty on Saturday and the party is expected to follow a similar strategy to that which saw the Greens take scores of London council seats from Labour at the local elections last month.
