Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has hinted that he could speak more openly about the club's financial misconduct case if its appeal succeeds, following a commanding 3-0 Premier League victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

The Italian made the remarks after Sunday's match on 11 October 2026, responding to questions about whether the uncertainty surrounding City's financial-rule breaches had diminished his enjoyment of the victory.
