Erling Haaland comes up against his former club as Manchester City host Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad tonight.
The striker had a sensational Champions League record for Dortmund and has wasted no time in continuing that at City, scoring twice on his European debut for the club last week against Sevilla.
One of the main reasons for City signing Haaland was for him to make the difference in Europe, where they have fallen just short in recent years. Pep Guardiola’s side are favourites to go all the way this season.
Dortmund got their Champions League campaign off to the ideal start, beating Copenhagen 3-0 in routine fashion. Jude Bellingham was one of those on the scoresheet, though there has been a heavy defeat to RB Leipzig since then.
