Manchester City are said to be in the market for another left-back: Benfica's Alejandro Grimaldo.
A report from Tribal Football states that City are competing with the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United for the 27-year-old. Grimaldo was at Barcelona for seven years earlier in his career, rising from the academy and becoming a regular in the B side before moving to Portugal.
Grimaldo's current deal expires in the summer which has led to speculation his club could negotiate a cut-price fee with suitors when the January transfer window opens. City have Joao Cancelo and Sergio Gomez as current left-back choices but if the report is anything to go by, Pep Guardiola may be keen to strengthen his options by swooping for Grimaldo in January.

Meanwhile, City are reportedly looking to nab academy star Jude Soonsup-Bell away from top-flight rivals Chelsea.
The Evening Standard reports that City have opened talks aimed at tempting the 18-year-old striker away from the London club. Soonsup-Bell has been part of the Blues' under-21s side this season and has featured in all but one of their UEFA Youth League games.
Despite starring for Chelsea's numerous academy sides he has found a first-team breakthrough hard to come by and now could be set for a switch to one of their biggest direct Premier League rivals.
He has made just one senior appearance so far for the Stamford Bridge club. That was last season for the Blues, in a 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Brentford. His contract at Chelsea expires at the end of this season - boosting Manchester City's hopes of being able to acquire the youngster.
