Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is hoping that his star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne is able to return for Saturday's clash against Leeds United.
The trip to the Etihad Stadium will be the Whites' first under new boss Sam Allardyce after he was announced as Javi Gracia's replacement on Wednesday morning.
Before the West Ham game, Guardiola had claimed that De Bruyne was 'starting to move' but hadn't trained with the team due to his illness. However, following the game, the Man City boss had a much more positive update in the eyes of City fans.

"He's feeling better, he's not here [against West Ham] no," Guardiola confirmed.
When asked if he'll be back for this weekend's clash against Leeds, the Spaniard simply replied: "I hope so."
Wednesday night's match against West Ham also saw Nathan Ake return to the starting XI for the Citizens, with the Dutchman having struggled with a hamstring injury he'd picked up against Bayern Munich but broke the deadlock four minutes after halftime with a header.
Regular goalkeeper Ederson also sat on the bench in favour of Stefan Ortega, but is expected to start against Leeds on the weekend with Guardiola confirming the Brazilian was simply being rested.
